IMPORTANT.

My 2237/11th December.

At 2100/11 Hong Kong Water Police recovered crew of Chahsing

from village of Long Kau Teng Lat. 22 degrees 23′ 21′′ N

Long 113 degrees 55′ 12′′ E. where they had taken refuge.

Police launch then visited bay where Chshsing

had been benched but found she had been removed.

Members of crew of Chehsing infomed Police that

they had observed from the shore the Japanese destroyer

to close to within about 14 miles from shore, lower two

motor boats, and tow the Chahsing off. Two unexploded

shells were found on the beach. A house on the beach

was hit by splinters. A mmber of chickens were taken

from the local houses. It is confirmed there were no

casualties.
